Well,... This is about the facial problems.

Hello, everyone. How's your day? Mine is fine.
Today I went to a local record store, and found something interesting.

A Taiwan based metal band named "Anticross" (you can find 'em on Myspace). Anyway they have released their debut E.P. this month.
The cover art was what really draws my attention.
so I'm gonna show you.

See that? Looks familiar?
Reminds you something?

So when I got back home, I looked upon web right away.
Then here we go,

And there are also many out there questions them how come they "copy" the mask of "the band".
On the message board of the band's official label blog, people directly pointed out that's so SlipKnot.
The label answered the question politely.
It said that might be a "tribute".
So I kept read those messages, then, There is one or maybe two messages that SEEMS were replied by the member of the band or somebody really close to the band.
It said that It's not copy, either a tribute. If you pay attention, can see masks are different.
Ok, I buy it. And then I am going to compare them.

Here I show you the official Slipknot Pictures

This one here is Mike Thompson's(a.k.a No.7) mask of the band's third album "Subliminal Verses" period.

This is also Mike. It's form their 4th album "All Hope Is Gone" promo.
It so obviously looks so alike the center mask on that cover of Anticorss E.P., DOESN'T IT?
So what we can tell the difference? Material? Length?
I think the thing is so obvious.

Go On,

Here is also Slipknot's guitarist Jim Roots(No.4). 3rd album period.
Jim Roots.

4th album period.
Again, compares with the one on the left corner of Anticross's album, let's see the difference.
Obviously the zipper on mouth. No zippers on Anticross's mask could be seen.
Then the sameness.
On Jim's mask, the shade on right eye connects to the paint on mouth, so does Anticross one, but Anticross has a bigger mouth.
And shape of eye shade is different, but you have to watch it. Jim's has four angles and Anticross one has 2 more. So that's the differences.
But it obviously looks alike.

Now, the group therapy.
This is Slipknot, from their Subliminal Verses promo.

And this is from All Hope Is Gone teaser.

Ok, the difference of group therapy style shot between Slipknot and Anticross is
that Slipknot circled around, but always left a space at the center of the group.
Anticross is obviously present chaos.

Anyway, messages claim that Anticross is musical different from Slipknot. Indeed, obviously different.
I think is not bad.
Here is their Myspace page.

They actually performing without masks.

By the way, this week I listen to Slipknot live at Download festival on BBC radio one's Rock show. Awesome live!!! Songs had a alternate version so great.
